HBS: Round One Interviews

Admissions Director Dee Leopold updated the Director’s Blog Thursday with the news that Harvard Business School continues to send out interview invitations to Round 1 applicants and that a significant number remain to be sent.

“The timing of when you receive an interview invitation is no reflection on the ‘strength’ of your candidacy,” she assures.

Leopold further clarifies that HBS will make Round 1 decisions before they see Round 2 applications. She expects that on December 15, perhaps 100 or so invitations to join the waitlist will be extended to candidates who have not been interviewed.

As the admissions committee reviews Round 2 applications, Leopold says they may invite some of these candidates to interview in the Round 2 interview timeline.
