Stay Connected through Darden’s Podcasts

More and more people are tuning in to podcasts to keep tabs on what’s cooking at business schools these days. Applicants and the merely curious can find a treasure trove of information on mbapodcaster.com, and today we’ll take a closer look at the catalog of podcast series offered by the Darden School of Business.

The Darden BusinessCast is a weekly news podcast featuring the events, news, and newsmakers at Darden. The program examines the world of business and how it all affects you. Learn about the latest issues in business and business education in a quick user-friendly format. You’ll get it all in less than ten minutes. A new installment of the Darden BusinessCast is posted to the site every Friday afternoon.

The Darden Speaker Series brings top-level corporate, government, and industry leaders to Darden to discuss current business issues and trends, and their individual leadership philosophy. These guest speakers represent a variety of experiences, industries and geographical regions, but all share a similar commitment to the core values consistent with the Darden mission: to better society by developing leaders in the world of practical affairs.

The Darden GreenPod, the school’s newest series, is hosted by Erika Herz, Manager of Sustainability Programs for the Batten Institute at the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business. The program covers a wide range of topics with leading scholars and professionals concerning the principles and practices of environmental sustainability.

The Entrepreneurship Series, (provided by Startup Studio), is produced and hosted by Darden alumna Betsy Flanagan (MBA ’98). This series inspires audiences by showcasing examples of people who once lived ordinary lives and went on to create something extraordinary from the businesses or organizations they created from scratch.
