Berkeley/Haas Diversity Workshops

Berkeley’s Haas School of Business plans to host three free workshops this fall for anyone interested in learning more about graduate studies in business management in all three Berkeley MBA programs: Full-Time, Evening & Weekend, and Berkeley-Columbia Executive.

Admissions staff from all Berkeley MBA programs will share helpful tips on how to prepare a strong application for admission, as well as offer advice about how to avoid common pitfalls.

The Berkeley MBA Diversity Workshop

Workshop Time:     9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Diversity is a key strength of the Berkeley MBA program. Students from a variety of backgrounds are an important part of the vibrant Haas community. Furthermore, the enriching diversity of the Berkeley MBA program is deliberate and has the critical purpose to mirror the global makeup of today’s business world. We invite you to attend the Diversity Workshop at the Haas School of Business to learn more about graduate studies in business management.

The Berkeley MBA Women’s Workshop
Date:     October 31, 2009
Time:     8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Organized by the Women in Leadership (WIL) club, this workshop is for women interested in exploring MBA programs. Participants will learn about the value of an MBA, the Haas curriculum, student life and alumni network. You will hear from current students and alumni, and discover exciting scholarship and financial aid opportunities.

The Berkeley MBA Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender (LGBT) Workshop
Date:     November 21, 2009
Time:     10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Organized by the Q@Haas Club, this workshop is for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgendered individuals interested in exploring MBA programs. Participants will learn about the value of an MBA, the Haas curriculum, student life and the alumni network. You will also attend a mock case study, hear from current students and alumni, and discover scholarship and financial aid opportunities.
