IESE Fall 2018 MBA Essay Question

IESE MBA essaysSpain’s IESE Business School has posted the following essay questions, found within the online MBA application, for the 2017-18 admissions cycle.

Essay Question 1

Please answer ONE (and only one) of the following two questions. (300 words)

  1. If you look at yourself in the mirror, what do you see? Please give examples of both your strengths & weaknesses.
  2. Describe a recent situation (1-2 years ago maximum) that demonstrates your fit with IESE’s mission and values.

Essay Question 2 (Optional)

This essay can be submitted either written (200 words) or as a video (max 2:00 minutes total in length). We are aware that you are not a media professional.

With deadlines around the corner, you may be interested in the world-famous SBC Flight Test. Once a full set of application materials for your initial school have been drafted, but not finalized, the application will be sent to a former admissions committee member for a one-time review, adcomm style. You’ll have the benefit of a true admissions committee review while still having the ability to tinker and change.  You will receive written feedback within two business days after submitting.
