Cathy received her MBA from INSEAD and her BA from Amherst College in the U.S.
After her career on Wall Street, Cathy pursued the INSEAD MBA. Through the Europe and Asia campuses, she met and learned from exceptional peers and faculty from around the world. With the skills and expertise she gained, Cathy decided to leave Wall Street to follow her passion — for chocolate!
Cathy apprenticed with the President of Relais Desserts in France, gaining valuable knowledge in how to create refined chocolate and running a high-end chocolate business, improved profitability as Chief Chocolate Strategist at Rococo Chocolates in London, and served as gourmet chocolate Brand Manager for Callebaut in Western Europe. After holding a Marketing Directorship at Pierre Marcolini, Cathy started Cocoa Journey, taking visitors to discover and delight in award-winning artisan chocolate, and learn to make delicious Belgian chocolate themselves.
Seeing her time at INSEAD to be the crucial inflection point in her career path, Cathy is keen on helping MBA candidates pursue their own ambitions for top MBA programs. Cathy has counseled and coached MBA candidates and enjoys sharing about her INSEAD experiences and passion with prospective students at regular INSEAD MBA Admissions events in Brussels, where she currently resides, and previously in New York, her former home.
In her personal time, Cathy enjoys traveling, running, serving at her local church… and of course, appreciating fine chocolate and pastries.Back
