DeeDee served as the Associate Director of MBA and Masters in Finance Admissions at the MIT Sloan School of Management, where she sat on the Admissions Committee and recruited, evaluated, and interviewed candidates domestically and internationally.
DeeDee holds a Masters in English literature from the University of Maryland and is pursuing an Ed.D. in Learning, Leadership and Organization Development at the University of Georgia. What DeeDee enjoys most is helping her clients realize their full potential through rigorous and introspective evaluation. She is a passionate advocate for quality education and has worked in higher education for almost 18 years including 12 years at MIT. She also taught college-level English composition and literature, managed a battered women’s shelter, and developed educational technologies.
Outside of these professional pursuits, DeeDee has earned a second degree black belt in kenpo karate and has studied aikido, hapkido, judo, and Brazilian jujitsu. She serves on the Board of Athens PRIDE and chairs the University of Georgia’s LGBTQ faculty/staff organization, and is also a former Board members of AIDS Athens.Back
