Dione is an accomplished marketing and communications professional who truly enjoys learning about clients’ aspirations and histories, and guiding them to gain admission to their dream schools.

Dione received a BA degree from Stanford University, where she graduated Phi Beta Kappa and double majored in Economics and Communication with concentrations in journalism and sociology. She held positions in corporate communications and product forecasting in the electronics, telecommunications, and energy sectors before returning to Stanford Business School to earn an MBA degree.  

Following graduation, she joined Sun Microsystems, where she held roles in business consulting, international channel management, field communications and headed marketing in the Middle East, Africa and Mediterranean regions.  Since then, Dione has worked for a number of years in marketing, communications, channel management and sales enablement roles at diverse companies, including startups, nonprofits and large technology companies. Dione has traveled extensively and worked and lived in Asia and Europe.  

Long interested in identifying what distinguishes an applicant as competitive or compelling, Dione has served as an Admissions reader and member of the Minority Admissions Advisory Committee at Stanford.  

In her free time, Dione loves to travel, hike, read and spend time with family, friends and beagle, Snoopy.
