Dione holds an MBA degree from Stanford Business School (GSB) and a BA degree from Stanford University, where she double majored in Economics and Communication with concentrations in journalism and sociology. Dione has served as an Admissions reader and member of the Minority Admissions Advisory Committee at Stanford.  

Dione is an accomplished and respected advocate and thought leader on education and diversity. She is a member of GSB diversity initiatives, as well as a member of the leadership team of the GSB Asian Alumni Chapter. Dione has written case studies about leadership and diversity for the GSB Center for Entrepreneurial Studies.  She was recently recognized by Stanford’s honorary alumni volunteer organization for her contributions across the University.

Dione has held positions in international marketing, corporate communications and partner development in the tech, telecommunications, and energy sectors. Following graduation from Stanford Business School, she joined Sun Microsystems, where she held roles in business consulting, international channel management, field communications and headed marketing in the Middle East, Africa and Mediterranean regions.  Since then, Dione has worked for a number of years in marketing and communications roles at diverse companies, including startups, nonprofits and large technology companies. 

She is fascinated by the challenges of navigating college and graduate school admissions, and of identifying what distinguishes a competitive vs. compelling applicant. Dione truly enjoys learning about clients’ aspirations and stories, and guiding them to gain admission to their dream schools 

Dione has traveled extensively and worked and lived in Asia and Europe.  In her free time, Dione loves to travel, hike, and read.
