Katie received her MBA from the Kellogg School of Management.  While at Kellogg, she was on the Admissions Committee; she continues to actively contribute to Admissions decisions through her current role as candidate interviewer.   

Katie has always had a passion for helping others to achieve their potential and set them up for success. Katie has refined her expertise in MBA talent development through a Director role at the Career Center of a top 20 MBA program. In previous years, Katie worked in CPG brand management at Kraft Heinz and Tyson, where she developed large-scale innovation projects for Heinz ketchup and key consumer profiles and product portfolio extensions for Aidells and Hillshire Farm.  While at Tyson, she also built out the MBA recruiting protocol across the marketing organization and ushered the company through a brand transition from Hillshire Brands to Tyson. Prior to Kellogg, Katie worked as a management consultant with A.T. Kearney, where she primarily focused in Consumer Goods, Retail, and Publishing.

In her personal time, Katie is a mentor for Big Brothers Big Sisters in Pittsburgh’s high school age program.  She enjoys a balance of Orange Theory Fitness, jogging, and yoga. Like many MBAs, she has a passion for travel.  Recent trips have included Slovenia, Amsterdam, and hiking the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu. She is a loyal Michigan Wolverines fan as well as professional Pittsburgh teams.
