MBA Admissions Scholarship!!!

Stacy Blackman Consulting is proud to once again sponsor the Beat the GMAT scholarship competition.  This competition is one of my favorite things that we do.  The entries are always well done, really fascinating, and it feels great to help out such terrific and qualified individuals.   This year’s competition will probably be quite competitive, but it is worth it – the prizes are terrific, valued at more than $14,000.  I encourage you to apply!  As a final note, just drafting your submission to the competition is a great way to get your feet wet for the main event:  the MBA applications.

NEW YORK CITY, March 2, 2009 ”“  Business school applicants are invited to enter the fourth annual 2009 Beat The GMAT Scholarship competition (http://www.beatthegmat.com/scholarship.html) that awards scholarship packages, valued at more than $14,000 to qualified prospective MBA candidates.  Co-Sponsored by Stacy Blackman Consulting (www.stacyblackman.com) and Manhattan GMAT (http://www.manhattangmat.com), the Beat The GMAT Scholarship competition is designed to provide potential business school candidates with assistance to help them achieve their full potential on the GMAT and in business school admissions.  This scholarship competition is now accepting applications, with submissions due on May 8th.

The 2009 Beat The GMAT Scholarship competition will award five prizes:
”¢ First prize ($5,490 value): $500 cash, one full Manhattan GMAT course, 1 school comprehensive package with Stacy Blackman (business school admissions consultant).
”¢ Second prize ($2,310 value): $500 cash, one full Manhattan GMAT course, 2,500-word editing service with Stacy Blackman.
”¢ Third prize ($2,210 value): $500 cash; one full Manhattan GMAT course; 1,000-word editing service with Stacy Blackman
”¢ Fourth prize ($2,020 value): $500 cash, one full Manhattan GMAT course; copy of the MBA APPLICATION ROADMAP book by Stacy Blackman.
”¢ Fifth prize ($2,020 value): $500, one full Manhattan GMAT course.

To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must have completed college or be in their final year of college, and plan to attend business school within two years.  To apply please visit www.beatthegmat.com/scholarship.html.  This competition is open to U.S. and international candidates.
