“Booth Insider” Blog Replaces Rose Report

With last week’s news that Rose Martinelli of Chicago Booth School of Business was moving on from her position as associate dean for student recruitment and admissions, many wondered what would happen to her popular blog, The Rose Report. Well, have no fear. The newest incarnation of the school’s full-time MBA admissions blog, Booth Insider, has launched.

Unlike the Rose Report, the Booth Insider blog will not represent just one voice but instead will feature different members of the admissions team. These distinct voices will offer prospective students multiple perspectives on issues affecting them, the inaugural post by Kurt Ahlm, senior director of admissions, promises.

Chicago Booth is currently abuzz with the major announcement Wednesday that Sunil Kumar will be the next dean, effective January 1, 2011. If you haven’t read up on that news, you can catch the complete story here.

We’ll be monitoring the information coming out of Booth Insider just as diligently as we did before with Martinelli’s posts, so stay tuned here for breaking news coming out of Chicago Booth.
