Chandler holds an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and has been a guest lecturer at Columbia Business School and the Yale School of Management. Chandler is passionate about compelling writing and graduated magna cum laude from Harvard with high honors in History and Literature, where his thesis focused on social change in American history. 

Chandler has focused his purpose-driven career on scaling international social enterprises in both the private and public sectors. For more than a decade, Chandler served as the COO of First Book, an international non profit that has distributed 185 million new books (valued at $1.5B) to children in need and whose innovative model has been highlighted by the World Economic Forum, the Clinton Global Initiative, NPR, and the New York Times. Chandler’s private sector experience includes serving as the CEO of Experience Early Learning, consulting with BCG, and strategy work with the Coca-Cola Company. A marketing innovator, Chandler has also developed multimillion-dollar public-private marketing campaigns with Disney, Pizza Hut, Penguin Random House, Target, and other Fortune 500 companies. 

Chandler and his husband live in Washington, D.C. with their four-year old son. Chandler enjoys fitness and SoulCycle (marginal performance), freeze tag (improving), and hide and seek (strong performance).
