Irina received her MBA from Stanford University and her BA from Moscow Linguistics University.

Irina’s professional experience spans multiple industries, sectors and geographies, allowing her to relate especially well to international applicants and those looking to make a drastic industry change.  A Spanish major from Moscow, Irina made a successful transition to finance and portfolio management in the UK and the US, before getting the start-up itch and working for a couple of dot-coms (retail and fin-tech) during the late 90’s internet boom in San Francisco.  Albeit short-lived, that experience proved highly valuable when Irina became the first employee of Google Russia, focused on strategic partnerships.  Irina’s last endeavor took her into the world of sports and venue management as the head of business operations for the Brooklyn Nets and Barclays Center in New York, where she was responsible for a wide array of practices, such as sales and marketing, digital strategy, media rights, sponsorships, and fan engagement.

Irina is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).  She is an enthusiastic member of the Board of PeacePlayers International, a non-profit organization that brings children from communities in conflict together to play basketball.  Irina is an avid traveler and recently fulfilled her dream of moving to London. She enjoys biographies, museums, tennis, and salsa and tango dancing.
