Chicago Booth Interview Advice
Yesterday, we highlighted the new online portal, Booth Connect!, which is a great resource for anyone considering pursuing an MBA at the Chicago Booth School of Business. Today, we address the admissions interview—your chance to let your personality and accomplishments shine in a way that no written application can.
Whether you’ve already been invited to interview at your school of choice or are still anxiously checking your inbox, these tips for a successful interview come straight from the Booth Admissions Committee and are enormously helpful.
Ask yourself these important questions before your meeting:
- Can I clearly articulate my career plan and future goals?
- What do I really want from my MBA experience?
- What is my motivation to obtain an MBA?
- Why is (insert program) the right place for me?
- Why am I right for this program?
- How do I plan to use my MBA in my career?
- What can I bring to the (insert program) community?
- Where do I see myself in 5, 10, 15 years?
