More on Reapplying from Chicago Booth’s Martinelli

rosePicRose Martinelli, associate dean for student recruitment and admissions at Chicago Booth School of Business, updated The Rose Report blog last week with additional information to guide those reapplying this season. See the first part of her post on this subject here.

“Every part of the application should be considered as precious real estate,” she advises, “with each question having a specific purpose, so take the time to be clear and concise in your answers.” In this new installment, Martinelli offers invaluable tips for several different components: data forms, resume, recommendations, essays and the evaluation process.

“It’s important to approach this as if you are writing your personal business plan for the future,” she writes. “Know what messages you want to convey and map them into the different components of the application before you begin writing.”
