Indian B-School Forges Double-Degree Program With HEC Paris

The Indian Institute of Management – Ahmedabad (IIM-A) has signed a strategic partnership agreement for a double-degree program with HEC Paris, The Times of India reported on Wednesday.

This makes the third such agreement for the top-rated institution, which also has similar programs with the Essec Business School in Paris and Italy’s Bacconi University.

“The partnership with HEC is to foster international understanding, development and partnership by stimulating and supporting educational, professional and cross cultural activities,” IIM-A director Samir Barua said when announcing the news. “The activities would be in the field of management research and education among students, faculty, staff and business communities attached to the two institutes,” Barua added.

Under the new agreement, students of the two institutions will be able to study in equal duration at the schools to earn two MBA degrees from both programs.
