Michigan Ross Applicants Keen on Team Exercise

Although the vast majority of applicants surely goes into the new team exercise activity a bundle of nerves, the feedback given so far to Michigan Ross School of Business MBA admissions director Soojin Kwon has been overwhelmingly positive.

Participation in the exercise is voluntary this year, but Kwon says strong interest from Round 1 applicants translated into all on-campus slots filling up, as well as the extra slots Ross added in. Perhaps this round of MBA hopefuls took Kwon’s words from an earlier video to heart when she she said something along the lines of: if you have a chance to introduce yourself and have additional face time before the admissions committee, why wouldn’t you take it?

Something interesting, and certainly reassuring, to take away from Kwon’s latest blog post is the advice she passes along from those applicants who have already completed the exercise:

They said, ”Believe Soojin’s video when she says not to prepare. You can’t and don’t need to prepare.”
