CBS Appoints Three to Exec. in Residence Program
Columbia Business School recently announced the appointment of three Executives in Residence: Robert Amen, retired Chairman and CEO of International Flavors and Fragrances Corp. (IFF); Dan Rosensweig, President and CEO of Guitar Hero, the Activision business unit which develops the Guitar Hero franchise; and Frank Zarb, current Chairman of Frank Zarb Associates, LLP.
Appointed by dean R. Glenn Hubbard to renewable one-year terms, executives in residence interact with students in a variety of ways, such as teaching and guest lecturing as well as participating in student clubs, conferences and other activities. The residents enhance the learning experience at Columbia by providing an insider view on a variety of industries, and broaden students’ view on management and career growth.
Vice Dean Amir Ziv commented, “The Exec. in Residence program, one of the first of its kind, gives students the ability to connect and learn directly from accomplished industry leaders. The residents mentor students and give them insights into the changing nature of careers and the opportunities and challenges they will encounter as business leaders in the global marketplace.”
