Round 3 Update From Harvard

Dee Leopold, admissions director at Harvard Business School, updated her blog today with news on the plan for Round 3 decision notification, which takes place tomorrow, May 13.

Decisions are slated for release at noon, at which point applicants will receive an email from HBS MBA Admissions indicating that your decision is available, Leopold explained. Waitlisted candidates have already received emails regarding HBS’s plans for making more offers and closing up the class.

HBS received over 9,500 applications for the Class of 2012—the second highest in its history, Leopold revealed, and this figure doesn’t include applications to the 2+2 program.

The class profile will be released in mid-August, and Leopold says they expect to post application deadline dates and essay and recommendation questions next week.
