B-Schooled Podcast Episode #284: The CEO & the Intern | A Conversation with 2 Stanford MBAs at Woz AI
In this installment of B-Schooled’s Paths Less Traveled series, Stacy Blackman sits down with two guests at very different stages of the MBA journey: Ben Collins, CEO and co-founder of the AI firm Woz and a Stanford GSB alum, and George Lankas, a current Stanford GSB student interning at Woz.
Ben shares the arc of his career, explains how Woz differentiates itself in the AI space, and discusses why he chose George for the internship despite George not coming from a technical background. George, meanwhile, reflects on how the experience is shaping his thinking about what comes next:
“It made me think a lot bigger and a lot broader about what impact I want to have on the world post business school and what direction I want to take my career and life after.”
That mindset aligns with Ben’s view of the current entrepreneurial landscape—he notes there’s never been a more exciting or accessible time to build, with real opportunities for aspiring founders to launch and generate revenue.
