Introducing Military MBA Admit: MBA Admissions Support Built for Veterans and Service Members
We’re proud to announce the launch of Military MBA Admit, a boutique admissions-advising service for enlisted and officer candidates seeking entry to the world’s top business schools. It’s powered by Stacy Blackman Consulting, so military applicants now have a dedicated home for their MBA journey, backed by more than two decades of admissions expertise.
Why a service built specifically for military applicants?
Military candidates are among the strongest applicants in any MBA pool. After all, leadership under pressure, global experience, and the ability to make high-stakes decisions with limited information are exactly what top programs look for. Yet many veterans and service members undervalue that experience, or find it hard to translate into language an admissions committee immediately understands. That translation is where Military MBA Admit focuses. We help you communicate the impact behind your service, skip the jargon, and turn complex military achievements into a story that resonates in a business context.
Powered by SBC
Military MBA Admit leverages the full resources of Stacy Blackman Consulting. That includes former admissions officers from every leading MBA program and SBC’s renowned Flight Test, a comprehensive application review conducted by a former MBA admissions officer that mirrors a real committee evaluation. You work closely with one dedicated consultant who offers unlimited support throughout the process, and you also benefit from the collective knowledge of hundreds of successful admissions engagements happening behind the scenes.
Meet your consultants
Two consultants lead the work, and both focus exclusively on military applicants. Additional consultants are available to support candidates based on their individual backgrounds, goals, and target programs. Margaret earned her MBA from Harvard Business School and built a career spanning consulting, investment banking, and operations leadership. As the daughter of a Coast Guard captain and sister to service members in the Army and Navy, she’s especially passionate about helping military candidates gain admission to top programs. Alex earned his MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and specializes in positioning military and veteran leaders for programs at Stanford, Harvard, and Wharton.
How Military MBA Admit works
The engagement runs in five steps, from your first strategy session to your final admit.
- School and career strategy. Translate your service into a clear post-MBA direction and build a target school list.
- Positioning. Shape the leadership stories and differentiators that set you apart from other military applicants.
- Application execution. Resume, essays, and recommenders, all focused on translating military experience into business language.
- Pressure-test. A former AdCom-style review and a final positioning check before you submit.
- Interview and admit. Mock interviews with military-specific framing, plus waitlist and school-selection strategy.
